Hannah’s group re-boxed the clay club materials
One of the plaster tables has been resurfaced.
Terry Lanier available November 10 at 6:45 pm in hand building

Chris has found out that the colonnade is not available on the date of the sale
Suggestions of moving it earlier in the week, having it Shands, under the awning at Library West, and near the University Gallery
Banner needs to be reserved as soon as we can. Ashley N. states that you can only reserve it in about a month in advanced.
Linda will contact Shands to see if its viable.
Chris P. will check into alternate dates and spaces.
Hannah motions to check out Reitz union dates earlier in the week or two prior to see the availability of the colonnade.

SAR for Anne Drew Potter has been submitted

Paul Lewing has made contact with us and possibly doing a workshop on China Painting
Fee is 1500.00 plus travel, plus housing, and food and will donate 15pounds of China Paint to the program.

Mindy Solomon would like to have UF members come give workshops at her gallery.
She suggests that we pick from her list of artist that show at her gallery.
Chandra D. motions that we have the list of her artist for when we suggest upcoming visiting artists in the Spring
Pat seconds the motion
Hannah suggests that we table the discussion to find better financial solutions
Pat suggests that we bring in some of these artist to give talks and not demo so financial issues are smaller and timing is easier.

Pat motions that we get her list and see if we can have someone come in and do an artist talk for an evening.

Bi-Laws will be scanned by Sarah M. and placed on the student computer and posted to the blog.
Membership to the club will be reviewed to see who gets funding for NCECA and to sell in the annual sales.

News around NCECA
Ben C., Charlie C. have researched if an alumni show is possible at NCECA but it is not.
We are having a show here at UF containing alumni, and current students
The Harn will be holding a Juried show during the preconference
Discussion about having a show in conjunction to NCECA but perhaps suspending the “Currents show during this year, and possible locations were addressed.
Charlie C. motions that we have an alumni show during NCECA next year and suspending the “Currents Show” during this year.

Hannah motions that we ask Anna Holcombe to jury the exhibition

Charlie passed out Florida Craftsman handouts
Linda discussed the organization and what they do/provide

Ben C. has been working with Ray G. to organize the pedestals and help with labor to move things around.
Pedestal form is in Chandra’s studio, but she suggests that we move it to Galen O. studio near the keys and that we could all check them out.
Galen O. suggests that we make him the keeper of the pedestals
Hannah suggests that we get their name, phone number, time frame, and when it will be returned.
Pat C. suggests that we inventory our pedestals and send an email to the list serv letting them know of when they can get them and procedures.
Hannah P. and Galen O. will type of this email and the rules of pedestal use.
Charlie C. motions that Hannah P. is in charge of getting the rules, inventory and the email and report back to us in two weeks.
Pat C. suggests that we renumber the pedestals and let certain ones out for critiques and every day use, and others for the “Currents Show” and more specific use.
