Hannah P. showed the Currents show entries and images of the people admitted to the show.
She then discussed what the proper format for submitting entries to future shows.
Approximately 31 pieces will be in the show.
Charlie C. then discussed the budget for a catalogue for the Currents show.
Hannah P. showed the two portfolios that responded to the commission email.
Chris P. motions that the catalogue is ready for NCECA but not the show itself.

Vote is unanimous.
Charlie C. then discussed the insurance policy in the Focus gallery.
Amy Vigilante provided information regarding the policy and the funds necessary to insure the work in the show. The cost to insure could be minimized by hiring someone to watch the show, or shorten the hours of the show.
Hannah P. motions that we hiring someone or have volunteers with shorter hours.
Discussion of practicality ensued.
Having students sit at the show and provide extra credit was mentioned as well as cutting Monday altogether and reduced hours during the week.
All seemed to agree to sit at the show for approximately 3 hours each.
Charlie C. motions that we volunteer to sit assuming that Amy Vigilante agrees to our plans

Calendar
January 9th will be the make-a-thon for PACE
February 6th is the second make-a-thon
MFA opening 1 with Pat and Chandra is on March 26th
Post-Bac and BFA show is April 9th
Spring sale dates were discussed.
Gainesville Fine Arts Association has mentioned that we participate in the Tioga Arts fair.
Hannah P. motions that we have the sale at Tioga.

Dates are Feb. 26th Friday 6pm-9pm, Sat. 10-5, Sunday 11-5
Vote is nearly unanimous with one abstained.
Slides are on Tuesday the 8th after 6pm.
Exhibition in Focus gallery closes on the 11th and then install for the Currents show.
