I found a cheap hotel only .6 miles from the Phoenix convention center. A two bed per room ran me 55 dollars a night. Most other hotels within the vicinity are averaging anywhere between 130-190 dollars or higher. There is a website for the Hotel that lets you make a reservation. I did mine over the phone so I can not speak to the efficiency of reserving that way.
